Getting Started Guide

New to Ariv? We've got you covered.

Installing Ariv in Slack

We are in a private beta phase, so please look out for an email inviting you to install ariv for your own workspace. Be sure to check your trash/spam folders as well as the invite email may end up in one of those folders sometimes.

If you'd still like to experience ariv - sign up for early access and join the Ariv-user community on slack.

Already have an Invite 🎉

If you already received an invite (we are sending out invites in weekly batches, to make sure we can give every sign up the experience they deserve) go right ahead and click on the link to start the installation process. If all goes well with the link sent to you, you can expect to see a screen like this one, if you aren't already signed in to the Slack Web App.

enter the name of your workspace when this webpage opens up

Since Ariv is in beta and not listed on the Slack app directory, you will need a workspace owner to sign in for the installation, if you are not the owner of the workspace. See this for troubleshooting any permission issue if you encounter them

Sign in with a workspace owner account

If all permissions are valid, you will see this page, click on Allow and be re-directed to your Slack App or logged into your Slack Web App, where Ariv will be waiting for you.

Give permission to install Ariv.

Cross your fingers and hope to see the following screen, if all goes well. If the installation is successful you will be redirected to your slack app, where Ariv will be waiting for you. Once that happens follow the Ariv Setup instructions, to configure Ariv for your workspace.
